My favorite part of my job is connecting with students and stakeholders to learn from each other and to achieve common goals. In my current job as a postdoctoral researcher at Purdue University, my research is focused on designing pest management programs tailored to the needs of small-scale specialty crop producers, especially those located in urban centers. In addition to conducting research, I develop extension programming and course curricula that translates knowledge into accessible forms. My professional goals are to provide tools, information and support to empower students and stakeholders to engage with and contribute to sustainable agriculture.
